Group Coaching

What is it?

Group Coaching is with a small number of committed and excited business women who are hungry to make some changes in their work life and committed to making a positive impact in the work they are doing.

Coming together and being part of a learning community has been a big part of my life and I want to give this to others. The group will work on challenges together as well as in 1:1 virtual breakout rooms. Each session has a theme derived from the group itself and I bring a perspective of our true nature that is both refreshing as well as life changing.  I also bring in other speakers to keep it a lively and dynamic learning space.

Who Is It For?

If you are someone who is ready to explore what’s really going on for yourself and who is open to learning and sharing with others, then this is an experience for you.

“Being at ease with not knowing is crucial for answers to come to you.”

Eckhart Tolle

How Does the Group Coaching Work?

This will give you an idea of how it works, however I do tweak it to suit where my clients are at and the challenges they are facing.

Group set-up

  • Each coaching session is two hours long, normally 12-2pm
  • Zoom is used as the virtual tool and we meet at a whole group and then break out into smaller groups and pairs
  • A safe learning space is key so we spend time getting to know each other first, setting some ground rules and ensure everyone is comfortable with the way it will work.

Subsequent group coaching sessions

  • These take place either every week or on occasions every other week over a six to eight week period.

Each Session Has a Light Structure

  • Check-in and learning from the previous week
  • Sharing key discoveries about life and who we are and how this then plays out in life
  • Working on challenges applying the learning from the discoveries
  • What to pay attention to and notice in the coming week

“Practical suggestions particularly around managing relationships during leave and giving that some thought ahead of time (which I hadn’t). Also generally very friendly and lovely to speak to! It is a very worthwhile service. Builds confidence at a challenging time and offers practical support for transitioning to parenthood.”

Engagement Manager, Global Management Consulting Firm

“Kate engaged well beyond my specific questions, probing topics that I found very useful, but that I hadn’t thought of myself initially (mainly around work-life balance upon return to work). I also liked the stakeholder framework that Kate used and the practical advice she gave – e.g. concrete keeping-in-touch topics for conversation with the Partners.”
